Three other girls in my class and I recreated a painting by Henri Matisse in art class. I think it turned out pretty well. Even though poor Madame Matisse ended up looking much more like Mr. Matisse.

I tried out a new nail polish and it turned out bright pink with shimmer in it. The picture doesn't really show the actual colour.

Dad, my sister and I went fishing and I caught this one! It was heavy as hell, but I guess that's because it was fighting. It wasn't really big, so... You can kind of see the size compared to dad's hand :p

I "helped myself" to one of these at school. They're free for all students, but especially aimed at first years. It's a school calendar where you can write down work etc.

I had to pack all my stuff up in a hurry because I hate packing and always postpone it until the last minute. Took this picture when I was nearly done. I can hardly believe I had my whole wardrobe for five weeks stuffed into that one bag. It's not even a huge bag.

I spent the whole freakin' day reformatting and re-installing everything on my laptop. Including moving all the files to the desktop, burning them to cds and then moving them back to my laptop.

Mum and I went on another hike in the lovely weather. I've never been this high up on this particular mountain. A neighbour caught up with us on the way down and promised he'd take me to the top one day!

My dog relaxing in our driveway while dad's working the tractor. She loves running around it, but as soon as he leaves the property with it, she lays down and waits for him...most of the time.

I took a hot bath and used a self heating face mask just because I felt like it. That always makes me feel good and relaxed. I'm fully aware that I look like a sunburnt tomato though... And I wish I had a tan (yeah, I know I'm not pale, but this is my normal colour. I want a tan).

My parents had a few friends over for a BBQ, so my sister invited her best friend and the three of us stayed in all night, playing this game. It was fun and I won!

My sister passed her driving test and got her licence, so mum and I bought her a bouquet to congratulate her. It's absolutely beautiful, even though it's really simple.

My family went out on a boat ride, and on the way back home, the sky went bright red. The sunset was incredibly beautiful to watch!

Can you spot the dog? Raija clearly loves to hide... You can't tell by the pic, but she's actually looking at me, not out the window. She even tried getting further behind it. We once found her sitting between the lawn mower and a water tank thing, under a table, just sitting there...

My sister and I bought matching scarves. I'm in love with it. The colour is pretty, the size is great, and it's so versatile (it can even be used as a dress).

It's our second day of sun (the first was last Saturday) and how am I forced to spend it? Mowing the lawn, delivering empty bottles for recycling and picking up grass after dad did some more mowing with a machine that doesn't pick up the grass... fun times!

I went hiking with my mum, sister and grandma once the sun came out. It was nice, but too short for my taste. The view was great though! I used the self timer on the camera to take this. Mum doesn't qualify as a photographer :p

Mum, my sister, grandma, a friend of grandma's, the dogs and I went for a walk as soon as it stopped raining. We barely made it back before it started. Week upon week of rain is fun... or not.
